And we look forward to meeting you, braefoot, both in D.C and then again in Boca Raton. ^

Punki, please do not scare off braefoot when you meet her in DC. In other words, if she asks you about me, lie!

The date is too far out for me to say "absolutely will be there" but at this time I would like to say "I plan on being there".

No chance. For us, that weekend has long been reserved for a wedding in Philadelphia.

Any such advice is completely useless because braefoot will be spending the weekend coming in Toulouse where there will be many attendees who know much of the truth about you and who will have their tongues fairly well oiled by the marvelous French wines and spirits.

I used that exact "wedding in Philadelphia" excuse to get out of the last PBI-FLL DO.

You need to come up with something more original.

You are on the "Possible" list and I hope to be able to move you up to "Definite".

Curses! Now I'll have to take her off the list!

Dovster---it's because of you that I want to go to this DO. Please don't take me off the list.

Should I go ahead and counsel this poor child?

Why would a woman of such obvious excellent taste and judgment need counselling?

Tell that to Franny's niece. I can very nicely live without such affairs, but one must adhere to family duties.

Right now, all she needs is enlightenment. If she refuses to consider that very carefully, her taste and judgment will come into such question that she will then have made herself a candidate for counseling.

Help me monitor!
I got this delightful offer from aucarol but, and this is a BIG but, she's from Alabama. I wouldn't understand one word. However, I shall probably sob on her shoulder. Will you translate?

Margaret

The accent is not that bad----Dov, being from Israel, understood it quite well------but maybe that word is international??

It is close. In Hebrew it is "lo" and in English it is "no".
