At my SIN dinner last month we had chili crab. The next night, jswong and I found the most amazing garlic tiger prawns.

I would like to make one of these dinners once....I will be in SIN from DEC 7-10, 2007....if anyone will be there at that time, let us set up a DO....

Quick Question

To make it in time for the DO what day should I leave the states? I will prob leave from JFK or EWR

Also

What hotel are you guys staying at if you are overnighting? I cant imagine a same day turn around.

I am leaving BWI on the 27th in the evening. My LAX-SIN departs at 1am on the 28th. I will arrive in SIN at 1130am on the day of the DO. For EWR-SIN which arrives two days later, you should depart on the 27th.

As for hotels...haven't finalized yet but most likely the IC :)

Since dinner is on Sunday night you would have to leave on Friday to get in at around midnight on Saturday. That would leave the day to sightsee and have dinner. You could leave on Monday and get back into the states on Monday. We are most likely staying at the IC. Would be nice if you joined us!:)

As scary, erm, I mean tempting as that sounds, I think we'll have to pass. Such food looks tempting to me, but something tells me AJ would not like it as much.;)

Looks like Benny8444 is coming with 99% certainty, so that would make at least four, maybe five of us flying from the US to SIN.^ Anyone else care to join?
