Bump...this thread has to get more attention.

There must be more FTers in/around NY April 27/28/29.

Yes, the Stadium is sold out for that game, but unless you are hardcore, there will be sufficient entertainment watching the game at one of the bars wherever you are, even in Midtown. And also, yes, you might be able to get a ticket there before the game. A good place for this is along the first base line on the south (I guess ) side of the Stadium near the "will call" windows as people pick up their envelopes and occasionally have a ticket in there for someone of their party that "no-showed.".

It is not important to have more of a crowd for this dinner. Most of the crowd will be down in Northern VA at the Freddies and the six or eight who are likely to be at this one are a lively group and is an ideal number so that everyone can get a decent taste of each wine. :D

Sorry, dupe. :o

It is a Saturday night and a lot of people have commitments with family and friends like myself (plus business commitments) In fact I have commitments that whole weekend.

So sorry I'll have to miss this.

And what is all this that I've gotten myself in the middle of this weekend????
All that I was figuring on was a big fat steak, plenty of wine (and maybe some whiskey), and pleasant FT conversations about miles, points, upgrades destinations, etc. ^
Now it looks like I'm attending some sort of M&M reunion.
It looks like I better get rid of the French from this week and brush up on some German for next. :(

Savage25 Apr 22, 2007 6:50 pm

So am I going to get some introductory German training before my 3-week trip to Germany in May? :D

flamboyant 1 Apr 22, 2007 7:32 pm

Savio,

You will, and you will get my Vodaphone mobile phone with 50 or 100 (don't recall) minute free contract for your time in Germany. I take payment in form of a BOGO certificate :).

Best regards,
Sebastian

Savage25 Apr 22, 2007 8:23 pm

Awesome! Had forgotten about that. I'll make sure I carry a spare BOGO cert ^
