I'm scared to ask this but... what does 'referrals' mean?
 

There's a number in the "view Public Profile" page.

Most people have 0

Some people have more.

What is a referral???:confused:

And how do you give them/get them?

I went to the glossary and guidelines and rules, even plugged in 'referrals' and 'flyertalk' on google and tried that way.

I'll try FAQs in future.

And yet I still don't know how the referrals thing happened!
(my husband joined, a friend joined, I've told plenty of other people about this site, I just never gave them any links... and I'm still not sure how it works:confused: :confused: :confused: )
