Crapoola. As there appear to be people I want to see who won't be
at Sunday brunch, I will buy a ticket for Friday night; if I can't get
away and leave my 89-year-old disabled father to fend for himself,
just let some random person in on my reservation (hold it for me until
7:30, ok?).

Cordelli plus one will do the dinner Friday night too. I'll send payment tomorrow, can't paypal from this machine.
We'll be heading home sometime Saturday, so can't make Sunday.

I guess I need to ask again -- What time is brunch on Sunday? I can neither sign up nor pay until I know whether I will be able to make it. The second post does not yet indicate the time of the event.

Given that I will be moving to DC that very Tuesday, I see no reason why I can't partake in activities during Freddies weekend . For now, put me down as definite for the pub and bar type events () and I'll be a maybe for Friday dinner and Sunday brunch.

So Steph the Kip-lover somehow feels like I am the one to be in charge of the pub crawl Saturday night, suggesting that a life half-wasted in various bars, pubs, dives, watering holes and so on should have SOME redeeming value.
So be it.
But as we all know, pub crawls are a delicate thing, particularly with a group larger than 3, particularly on a Saturday night when pubs get crowded, sometimes to the point of there being a line formed outside. And NOTHING spoils a good pub crawl like a damn velvet rope.
Therefore, in the grand tradition of Wingnut's Great Flyertalk London Pub Crawl, I recommend an AFTERNOON pub crawl that either does or does not climax with dinner among the pub-crawlers and non-pub crawlers. This way those of us who love a good pub crawl can get 'er done without interference from crowds and also have the evening free for frivolity.
I've got a route pretty much in mind, but since the ultimate plan depends on participation levels I've started a new thread to get a solid idea of who is in and for how long. So even if you have already expressed an interest here, please also do so over there.
