My wife makes the best latkes on the planet. Better than my bubbe's.

Also, for those who didn't know, XM Radio has a "Radio Hanukkah" channel through the holiday. And a free 8 day trial. www.xmradio.com/hanukkah (special code "thechosen" if you live under a rock and don't know the name of the book they refer to!)

We are very much enjoying the tunes :-)

Happy Hannukah (or however it's spelled!)! I'm not Jewish but I love latkes! Cheers.

There seem to be many iterations of the spelling of Hanukkah! At least in English...

Who DOESN'T love latkes? :D

Not necessarily. I get e-mails from my relatives in Israel, and then cut/paste the Hebrew text!!!

Or, you can use the Insert Symbol command in Microsoft Word and then paste it into these messages like this:
לעבל

I think that is my Hebrew name!

For something short I just go to Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Character Map and hunt-and-peck the characters. A Hebrew font has to be installed, however.

The better half uses Davka Writer, from Davka Software (davka.com). It's a word processor that lets her seamlessly shift between English and Hebrew in a document. She uses a Mac, but I am pretty sure there's a Windoze version.
