Las Vegas DO
 

I'm curious if there are ever any DOs in Las Vegas. Being a new member I haven't seen anything posted and the words "LAS", "Vegas" and "Do" don't provide any help when searching these forums :D

So any answers would be help. Thanks!

LAS is a frequent destination for FTers. (I get there almost twice a month). There have been numerous DO's in the recent past. Popular conventions bring out a lot of FTers. People who enjoy the city and what it has to offer brings out many more. Watch this space.

We just had a couple of dinners in July (and we had lots of fun). There are some wonderful locals there too. If you post it, they will come. Or something like that. :)

iluv2fly only shows up in LAS when I'm not there. ;)

DEBUA1K and I are both sushi fans. Sunday Night Sushi Dinners are an easy possibility. I would love to have an ongoing event out here given the large numbers of FTers who pass through our fair city.

Almost any night in September/October except on the weekends works for me. I have a holiday this weekend followed by 2 mileage runs then 2 DOs scheduled.

Are there any FTers coming to town in the next few weeks? Open invite for sushi dinner in their honor ;) I will even throw a UA drink chit their way as a door prize...

I'll be back in Vegas over columbus day weekend (saturday - monday) -- if anyone is around.

I am going to have to do a MR this year :eek: and would love to go to LAS. Best for me would be weekends and / or Thursday/Friday evenings.

Debua1k would make a FANTASTIC Do hostess..with a great passion for "her" city and a genuine spirit of hospitality.....make sure she gets to the Star Trek Experience and you'll have an AWESOME time :).

You can't beat a "warp core breach" in quark's bar. Every time my buddy comes to town he makes me take him there to get one... It's got like 15 drinks in it... LOL good stuff.

Yeah...I had one once. Got about halfway through sharing with someone and was under the table. :)

Anyone up for Sushi on Thursday at 7 pm? Sushi on Trop has an all you can eat for $24.95 per person.... That is this Thursday 9/28/06 at 7 pm.....

Normally, yes, I would be up for it...unfortunately I'm addicted to Survivor, which is Thursday nights at 8 pm and The Amazing Race, which is Sunday nights at 8 pm. (I'm very low tech...no TIVO...no satelite TV...no cable TV...no VCR)

Would Wednesday work better?

I'm so there! If you are willing to finalize Wednesday (tomorrow), I'll also volunteer to pick up any out-of-towners from their hotels.

My hubby and I will be there at 7 pm...

YUMMY is all I can say! I ate so much - especially liked the fried roll, garlic albacore, and garlic mixed roll! It was nice to meet Sunnyhere & see Debua1k and hubby again.
