Soiree at the Capitol in the Capital?
 

Am planning for a FT get together in Washington D.C for October 6-7-8...Still working on the schedule but a general glimpse would be so far...


Everyone arrive on 6th...will meet at designated hotel nearby airport then we all can metro to a restaurant of our choosing a week in advance. afterwards will go to DC's finest clubs.

On the 7th, Go and visit the Air and National space museum at Dulles then head out to RFK Stadium and watch the DC United play the New England revolution..will get a group rate plus good seats. at 7:30 pm.

On the 8th, we will tour the Capitol then lunch at "The Capitol Brewery" right off Union Station...after Lunch everyone embarks on their journey back...can metro to DCA, catch the bus to Dulles from L'enfant or take Amtrak to BWI Rail station and the Metro from the station to BWI.

Let me know guys :)...will keep the costs as low as we can :)

plus...do a MR to DC...creative routings on US/UA/AA!

I'm in DC this weekend and would be interested in some of these events (at least the ones involving food and the museum). I fly home from DCA at 2pm Sunday.

Normally, I would try and make at least one event for a weekend get together but that is Fell's Point Festival weekend so I will be otherwise occupied in Baltimore.

I will be in DC then so probably can make at least some of the events. The soccer game sounds fun.

It's a long weekend, I'll be out of town. Maybe next time. :)

i'm getting to disliking the capital brewery. mediocre food etc. There are other choices in the area both at union station and south of the capitol. And now there are also some choices on florida avenue
