SYD 23-28 May 2006
 

I am leaving this evening for SYD (via LAX - I think some FTers may also be on that flight - l'll be in 15 unless I get the coveted double-upgrade) and will be in the city from 23 to 28 May. I chatted with kluau88 and he said that he would be there during some of those days. Anyone interested in getting together for lunch or dinner one of those days? My schedule should be pretty open during the day and only a few evenings are already spoken for. Sorry I will not be attending the Do there - if it's anything like last year's, it should be fab.

I will be staying at the Sydney Harbour Marriott. Those of you who know me can just call or email. I will be checking this upon my arrival to SYD.

P.S. The "natives" know what kind of food I don't want...

Arrived in SYD early this morning and did some touristy things today. I'm free tomorrow and Wednesday. Hopefully this weather front passes through as it's lightning out right now.

I don't know if I will be checking the boards during the day, as I'm planning on doing some day trips to the Blue Mountains and Manly beach.

Unfortunately most FT'ers will be in BNE for Ozfest this weekend. You could always duck up to there. ;) :D

Guys Hurricanes is excellent, and as its on my street would be rude not to come down!

Would advise to prebook any night of the week there to avoid a wait... Let me know what you decide (apart from Wed as I am at State of Origin, which if anyone is looking something to do I can highly reccomend and there are still tickets available)

This restaurant at Bondi looks like a winner for me. As long as I can get there via cab or some nice local will pick me up at the Sydney Marriott Harbour (hint hint).

Shall we plan it for Thursday night so simong can join us? That would be fine by me.

Wish I could have made it up to Brisbane, but my schedule wouldn't allow it. If it will be anyting like last year's event, it will be FAB!

Not sure if kluau88 is free on Thursday as he only says he's free Tue/Wed.

Either today or wed would be better for me (although it would need to be today if simong is going to come).

I'm happy to pick up people in town on my way to Bondi if that helps (as long as they don't mind dog hair :eek: )

Sorry, it's the lack of good sleep that made me not study every post properly.
