Well, it's going to be a week AFTER the Freddies... but it's a nice warmup to Dhammer's Brooklyn reality tour the following morning.

The THIRD NYC/Post Freddies Soup DO.

The website http://www.labonnesoupe.com/menus.php has menus (full range of items) and prices. For around $20-$25 you can get a nice meal.

The last two "Soup Dos" have been a delicious success. This place has also been a Flyertalk favorite for several years (Thanks again Tribe Flyer for introducing me to the place, and Alysia for suggesting this as a Post Freddies meet up place two years ago.)

We're in. Franny and I are definites for the Soup Do. We had a great time at the La Bonne Soupe lunch last year and are sure ready to try it for dinner.

I've stopping by to give my regrets. I'm already ticketed, and the only flight available with a good fare gets me in far too late for this. Catman, I'm looking forward to catching up on the tour Saturday.

Carol, I'm sorry you won't make it because I'm certain you will LOVE this place.

If you have time in NYC on your own this trip or come back do drop in for some soup and good company.

We'd love to, but cannot. If we clear the list on Mar 1, we'd have to plan on catching an evening flight Fri May 5 with arrival well past the soup hour < sigh >

I went to put this event on the FT Calendar and just realized...

The Soup Do happens on Flyertalk's 8th birthday!

We'll have to order a special chocolate moose in honor of FT! :)

FYI: I was here this weekend, and the food is as good as before (esp their famous onion soup... my fav!)

Unfortunately my flight from SEA gets in too late to make it by 6 PM Sharp :(.

This sounds delightful though and I'm sorry I'm going to miss it.

Question to Catman: Is 6PM carved in stone or can you make it a bit later to accommodate ldsant (and maybe some others who will be coming in a bit later)?

Idsant, because I so would LOVE to have you at the Soup Do (and you make a great dance partner ;) ) I can adjust the time to 8p.

Is everyone else ok with this? I"m going to change the time on the first post.

FYI: I don't plan on making reservations until at least 3 weeks out.

The other thing, and I did not realize this, is that at 6pm there will be a HUGE Theatre crowd, and we might not be able to get a large group in.
