Thur: I suggest starting out a round or two of drinks at the Oriental Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental as it's a very nice lounge (despite the hotel), with superb (and I mean superb) service and live jazz. Then off to a nice dinner. Perhaps Lana Thai? It's walking distance and if you have been to Face/Lana Thai in Shanghai (Rui Jin Bin Guan), same people. Or anyone of the lists in the above posts.

Friday Day: There is a tour bus tour of Jakarta people can take, I am interested as well as I have not done it. It's something like $30 and lasts for 1/2 day I guess...probably with the obligatory handicraft store stops...Will get more info if people want. If people are interested in shopping for local handicrafts, Pasa Raya Mall has 2 huge floors dedicated to crafts and batik, quite nice.

Also, I think there's an all day tour that also goes to Bandung, I would also be interested in that as well.

Friday Dinner: So dinner at Dragonfly and then stay at the bar/lounge there. If anyone wants to move on, we can also go to X-Lounge/Vertigo. If after 2 and people still want to move on, there are places...

Sat lunch/brunch: I suggest Batavia Cafe in old Kota. Its really nice with Western and Chinese cuisine, in an old colonial 1830s or so building, situated across a square from the old Dutch Town Hall (a museum now).

Is anyone around Sat night? We can plan a small dinner etc as well. We can go to the smaller well-known local (expat and locals) bars such as Aprodite and Bugils, etc. They will be packed.

Sunday brunch? Again, if anyone is around, we normally do brunch at the Four Seasons as it has a HUGE spread (the sashimi/sushi bar alone covers the $20 pp charge) and is freepour sparkling wine/fake champers (not bad though).

Some initial thoughts....

If you are interested in doing any of oontiveros' excellent suggestions above, please express your interest.

What the heck... I can twist your arms myself. :D
MAN Flyer: if you are going to do that MH run with this lad, just tie him up at the last sector and check him into one of your suitcases to CGK. I am sure you will be able allowed the 'excess baggage' with your PPS status. ;)
