LOL! You know me, I remain very SQ-loyal. :) Believe me, if I had received even half a sector for KUL-SIN, I wouldn't have travelled on MH, despite everything I'd heard about the MH lounge. ;)

(And, yes, CGK, I'm taking SQ 219 to SYD. :D)

See what happens when you don't show up, unexpected guests turn up :D Sad to say the party in Singapore was pathetic. My friend and I made it back to SIN then had lunch with her sister, bro-in-law, and nephew. After that met up with a couple other friends and went to church. Following church we had some sushi nearby. After dropping my friend off at home went back to meet up with my other 2 friends. We then made our way to a Villa Bali for some drinks and dessert. During that time I got a msg from cawhite that she was already ready for bed so no late night hawker stand run. That was fine with me as after my friends and I left Villa Bali, I headed back to the Sheraton and was so ready for some sleep.

As for party flight UA 890 yesterday morning it was a pretty good flight. We had a good NRT based crew serving us upstairs. Also NCRBill came upstairs and introduced himself. I knew he was on the flight, but perusal of the boarding area revealed no other ft tags. The captain wrote notes on business cards and they were distributed to certain passengers. Nice touch indeed.

CGK I guess you can stop trying to match up ft handles to names in pictures :P

Thanks to shortfinal's ordering, there were ten pieces of satay (or sate) on that plate per person, plus accompaniments. (And this was meant as a mid-afternoon "snack" before dinner. :D)

Yes, it was very good, so good we went back the next day for more. :)

My sole J->F op-up was on SQ219, so I consider it my lucky flight. ;) :)

Thats the Transtar First Class Bus.....16 seater of 1-1 with PTVs and AVOD and massaging chairs...approx S$58 from SIN-KUL and S$41 KUL-SIN. See http://www.transtar.com.sg

You did not see the mother of all rainstorms we had before you got here! We were very lucky, I think :D

Very lucky :)

3 weeks of travelling and only rained twice - once just minutes after arriving back at hotel for night and once while sitting in a/c having just boarded

cawhite Nov 14, 2005 6:12 pm

Not like I haven't said this already ;) but a big thanks again to everyone for such a fantastic weekend and (for me) 1st trip to KL! :) :) :)

I guess I owe a few people a late-night hawker run on my next trip to SIN :o

This morning I took NCRBill to the NRT SKL and we ran into 2 more FTers invading the SKL at the same time, coincidentally :D followed by a 2 hour delay leaving NRT while waiting for cncting pax. But the good news of today was my NRT-ORD, I flew with a fantastic crew including 1 FA and 2 pilots I flew with earlier this year, and kinda unnerving that they all remembered/recognized me in addition to me remembering/recognizing them.... :o

It's cold and rainy here...bleh...

J777 -- thanks for making that "delivery" for me.

Hmmm, going to have to go look at those pictures... ;) :p
