To appropriate the words of the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize winner, I’ve been to the Mountaintop and seen the Promised Land, just one thousand posts away. Although hating to juxtapose a repurposed quote from the hateful 1938 Time Magazine Man of the Year, after Evangelist I will have no more territorial demands in FlyerTalk: lucky thing, at the rate I’m going I’ll be +/- 140 years old when I hit 40,000 posts and would have run out of anything useful to say decades before, if indeed I haven’t run out already.
Upon reflection, FT has been nothing but enriching. |
