Chicago Lunch?

Who's up for lunch in the city on Thursday? Anytime after 11 am.

I'm a bit Asian-fooded-out of late, so somewhere other than Flat Top. I'm willing to entertain suggestions...

Cook County Hospital cafeteria?

I'll be in Schaumburg the rest of this week and in Indianapolis all of next week. Then my company's COO is coming to town for a few days, hopefully not to fire me. So a nice leisurely downtown lunch is not in the cards until about 6/9.

Not this time, I'm traveling for another month, then back to "normal" chaos where I'll be able to make Chicago FT lunches.

I only go to Flat Top. ;)

Can't make it this Thursday, but have fun!

Anybody interested in next Thursday? Flat Top? If so, I'll start a thread later (or feel free to start one while I"m gone :p )

See, we're incapable without you, Cheryl! :) I'm off to SAN on Thursday to see the Cubbies and back on Monday. I can do Tue, Wed or Thu next week (6/7-8-9) but you guys go ahead if you need the fix sooner!

I think I'm free Tuesday and maybe Wednesday next week, although I may have to try and keep lunch at 75 minutes instead of the full two hours I was out of the office last time.

Although if Cheryl shows us her new yoghurt tricks, maybe 90 minutes. :)

Do people in Chicago eat dinner at all?

Must be the time difference...

What do you mean? They are in the middle of their longest winning streak of the season! And, I finally wore my lucky shirt (Sosa Lumber Company - which I was also wearing on the Friday night of the game I missed in DC  ) and finally saw them win for my first time this year. So, that shirt has been washed and is ready to go to San Diego! :D

But seriously, I think next week would be best for lunch - I might not be able to take the full two hours tomorrow either - and if our "inspiration" posts a new thread, we might get a few more takers!

yeah we do, but the one hour commute back into the city just for dinner takes a real toll on the conversation...

Besides, this way there's a chance that MrFurious will actually be sober when he joins us.

No, not those tricks... we're going to Flat Top, not the pool table suite at the Palmer House! ;)
