Do we even have a firm date yet? I saw someone propose Jan 12-15, but I haven't seen anything from mjm about it.

Anyway, most airlines only allow booking 330 days out.

No mjm hasnt confirmed dates for 2007 (I assume there WILL be a 2007 run). Give him a bit of a break.

Exactly. I don't want to put any pressure on mjm by confirming travel plans before Mike chooses a date.

Booking for 2007 is made a little trickier anyway, with the possibility first A380 flight around the same time (although SQ must be desparate to get it in 2006).

Spot on as usual Kiwi. While many of us have been fortunate to have it scheduled the past few years over a US holiday weekend, there are other schedules to consider as not everyone has that weekend as a holiday. mjm has been great about letting us all know as soon as the dates are confirmed :)
