Yada Yada - you're not the only person, and IIRC from last year there are non-seafood options and no problems getting enough quantity.

Willie,
Now I am even more glad I stopped in ORD a couple weeks ago. Will miss you in SIN, but ORD beckons again soon hopefully. Good luck at work. Yada Yada, Got you down on the Maybe list and will upgrade that to confirmed as soon as we hear back from you. BUt for the moment, Welcome to FT and hope you can make it. Have a look at the No Signboard restaurant menu available on their site which is linked to the Dinner page at the event website. That website is here: SIN Run '06 Webpage Page updates done to date. Anybody else with details? Mike |

I guess I could always just drink beer and not bother about eating. :D
I have a similar issue with mrs serfty and we have had a close look at the No Signboard Seafood Menu and there are quite a few other options, such as chicken, pork, vegetable, bean curd & even bullfrog  . We have decided to give it a go ... (perhaps not the bull frog though ... :p ) |
I'll be honest; I'm not a huge seafood eater myself - I am sure there's enough on the menu to feed us too :)

The chicken wings at no signboard are good :)

seafood allergy
serfty, Yada Yada,
Do not worry about the menu, we had similar situations at No Signboard in the past and all went great. There are plenty of non-shellfish, non-seafood, non-fish choices on the menu (which also includes veggie only items) to suit everyone's dietary requirements. Hope this helps. All the best, R |

All the best, R No worries... I was one of those who had a major allergy at the last SIN do and had little problems but I would like to suggest that the few of us who are allergic to seafood form a separate table so we can order our own food and not have to worry about contamination. What say you guys? Gaz MJM - You can put me down as confirmed for the whole weekend... :) |

Just kidding. Actually, raw non-starchy vegetables are fine. |

I'm fine with any food, 'tis mrs serfty with the issue, only with seafood; she's fine with fish.
("Fish" is considered different from "Seafood" in many asian regions) |

I did, on SQ in Y - very interesting presentation (served following traditional customs), tasty food, larger tray than usual Y (hence more comfort when eating) and larger portions. nice experience, might try it again. Cheers, R |
Well, before someone suggests we change restaurants, let me say I love seafood, and am looking forward to lots of Chilli Crabs and Pepper Crabs. :) :)
