Chicago Lunch - May 3 - Basil Thai
On the spur of the moment, my fellow FT'er "iluv2fly" and I have decided that a return trip to Basil Thai is warranted !! Basil Thai was the scene of a very nice luncheon a few months ago with our UK based friend holmedown......
The restaurant has a GREAT buffet that costs about 10$, and parking is available in the building at "validated" rates..... TIME: 11:30 AM, Tuesday, May 3 LOCATION: Basil Thai Restaurant, 900 N. Not sure as I have a training session at some point that day; I'll have to check when it is when I get to the office in the morning. If it's after 1:30, I should be able to make it in order to amuse Cheryl by letting her ask me every five minutes if I'm going into shock from eating something from the buffet with peanuts in it. :eek:

Gotta miss this one again :( I have month end production, can't leave office.
But you guys should definitely try the champagne truffles from Teuscher on the 5th floor. Every girl I have given those to have loved it :) And they are that good :D (it might have other intangible benefits too) |
