Completely missed my 8000th post but happy to join this club! Slowed down over the past year due to COVID -- some increase in the non-travel forums like DIningBuzz but not enough to offset my usual DL / Marriott / Hilton postings with no travel to report on or provide insight into.

Slowed posting in the Travel Forum too but discovered the Dining side , posting more on it than travel these past months . Travelling through food seems the pattern these days . Will take awhile for me to get to 8 000 .. congratulations once more ! |

Luckily, I have bubbly and confetti left over from a quiet New Years’. True, 8k isn’t a prestige threshold but with C-19 every little accomplishment is worth celebrating. I used to hold steady at an average of one post per day, and so I could have forecasted that I will be next crowing in a little under three years. But the less I travel the more I post, causing my lifetime posting average to soar to 1.03. If the pandemic holds for another 18 months, I just might make evangelist. Regardless, stay safe, hug somebody you love when and if possible, and see y’all at 9k.
