I am sorry that I won't be able to make this Do. I'm starting a new job next week. It may take some time to train my new employer to expect regular jaunts across the globe just to earn miles and say Hi to friends

amiras - you mentioned IAD-EZE so I assume you're looking at UA awards. I've noticed availability sometimes opens up 2 weeks prior - especially XF. Keep calling...

Yep, I'm looking into UA. I can't find Saver awards (and I don't want to spend 80K for an Standard one) but I'll keep trying (thanks for the tip !).
Good luck on your new job !!!! ^ ^

Keep trying!!! Any chance of award seats on the 6th, or does that not work with your schedules?

Sadly, in the back of the bus.... It's a T-fare I bought for under $500 RT. Can't complain, considering the front-cabin on a 767 is nothing to talk about. I'll pamper myself at Westin NYC the day before I fly

Hope you can join us!

My plans that week are kind of up in the air, but I suspect I'll need to go somewhere in Asia that week. Too bad - Wilson, Elvis, haven't seen either of you in awhile. Actually, the last time I remember Elvis was in NYC at Dan's get together..which year is a little fuzzy right now.

Hey, wassup ! I can't remember the year either..

Too bad you can't come down to join us. Did you ever manage to visit BA ? Anyways, I'm all excited cause I'm going to party and chill for 7 days in BA, and afterwards -- Rio. ^ ^

Is anyone planning to see the Argentina vs. Peru match on the 9th ?

As noted before, we'll be doing a wine tasting at Gaucho100k's wine shop, Terroir, on Saturday afternoon (8Oct) at 1500.

The tasting list is as follows:
Sparkling Wine:
Chandon Eternum Brut

White Wines:
Salentein Sauvignon Blanc
Luca Chardonnay

Red Wines:
Mora Negra 2003
Rutini Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
Mapema Primera Zona

Dessert Wine:

The cost will cover the wine consumed during the wine tasting, and depend on the amount of wine consumed and number of people present.

Terroir is located in the Palermo neighborhood, see map for directions and website.

Below are the currently confirmed wine tasting attendees. If anyone else would like to join, please let us know this week so Gaucho100k will know what to expect.
dedehans & Hans
