Foreign money exchange rates & American Express
In Italy a few weeks ago, I used my ATM card for cash, and received an exchange rate of $1.30 per Euro or $1.29 per Euro, depending on the day. On the same day, I charged a car and driver to American Express, who supposedly gives good rates to their cardmembers. I was charged $1.37 per Euro. Anyone else have experience with this? Is there another credit card that offers better foreign exchange rates?

FT Community is for get togethers and gatherings. The topic of credit cards and exchange rates is a frequent topic in the Travel Buzz forum, so you might check there. There's also been a detailed discussion on credit card fees (as much as 3%) running in the American Airlines forum.
