Its always interesting too how the same people can attend a FT gathering and have vastly different experiences depending on which people they spend more time with... and what they do afterwards. ;)

I say it's all the gossip these events generate. People running out of money, complaining about others, etc. :p

Not to mention getting thrown out of bars, exploring the wonderful world of tequilla, 3am phone calls, dramatic arguments and, um, reconcilliations in hotel lobbies, check-splitting adventures, checking waitresses for tatoos... all the events that make people bond with each other. :)

Wait, the last one about the tatoos was at work. Never mind.
