The drink part will definitely happen, who knows about the food :) Most folks will be heading out around 6 or 6:30 for the baseball game, I think it starts around 7 pm.

Greetings to everyone. I just found this thread. I will be arriving in Dc on the 14th about 5:00 p.m. Need to check in at the Hilton there at Dupont and will join everyone as soon as possible.

I am also a NW flyer.

If your flight is arriving at 5 PM, I doubt that you will be able to check-in and be at Lauriol plaza before everyone leaves for the baseball game at about 6 PM. But who knows, there maybe some non-game FT'ers who may still be there.

If you're coming into DCA it's doable. IAD or BWI, no way.

If you plan to attent the Sat pre-game happy hour, please post here. Currently, less than 20 FTer's are attending. I would like to tell the Lauriol Plaza staff a more reliable number of guests. As an aside, only 1 check per group per the web site. That means bring cash to pay.

Syd - you're going to get 20 ... you have local DC folks saying yes and over 20 people coming from the game (even if they haven't posted here).

Syd - Sorry for the really late notice - but I just found out that I need to head up to NYC - wont be able to make it on Saturday. So thats a -1 for your count.

I land at DCA at 4:30. Overnight trip only so I will only have carry on. I know the ball game starts and many may be gone, but since I have already schedule this trip to attend the police officers memorial on Sunday I want to take advatage of the time to meet some FT'er.

Hey, bring your carry-on with you. I was carting luggage at my first FT get together in NYC :)

I would think anybody who wants to joing us at the game could buy a cheap ticket and come and sit with us. That many people are not gonna all be seated all the time.

I will be attending the pre-game happy hour. Might even bring along a non-FT friend if I can convince her. :)
