Well still crowded, but not like a Thurs night or Sun. brunch.
And finally, what do you think are DC best margaritas if not Laurial? :) I can visit the manager next week, once I return from Singapore and see what is possible. But for now, who is attending if the happy hour is on Sat May 14? I would need that infor beforehand. I'll post over on the Cubs-National thread a similiar proposal. |
Ok Sat5/14
Hi, I could make Sat. 5/14, thanks.

5/14 works for me

Just a heads up that there are currently 2 tickets for Friday's game and 1 ticket for Sunday's game left unallocated. Saturday is currently full, but not everybody has paid yet.
Friday/Sunday seats are in Section 328 row 3 (the last section in the left field corner, under the overhang of the upper deck) and are $36 each. Saturday's tickets are in Section 522 (upper deck between home and 3rd) and are $18 each. (The prices are inclusive of the various convenience fees that were added to the $30/$15 list prices.) If one of you is interested in both tickets to the Friday game, or two of you are interested in one ticket each, please please PM me right away, because otherwise I'm going to put the pair up on ebay over the weekend to try and get most of my $36 back. |
headinclouds, can you update the info on the first page for May's event if we've come to a consensus?
|
Headinclouds - I think your numbers for Saturday the 14th may be a little low. Nick had 24 tickets for the game, and they are all gone and the majority of those folks are (very) likely to show at the Lauriol first.
Count me in for 2 if you're planning a specific count. Also, I'd expect to arrive more 4:30 than 4:00pm. Thanks for setting up the reservation. ^ |

I would think those not going to the Spy Museum would prefer to get there earlier. Why do I suddenly have an urge for Margaritas, chips and guacamole? |
I was hoping to make this one! Unfortunately I'll be in Chi-town  . One of these days I'll meet up with this FT group.

I'm planning on making it to Lauriol as well - what's the closest Metro stop? Dupont??
I've got some friends that are coming up that weekend & we're going out that night in DC, but they're staying in Rosslyn & I may just park there & metro in. I'll be by myself most likely - won't be there for the baseball game though... |

My mouth is already watering. :) |
Count me in too!! Yup, Dupont is the closest metro. You can also walk from U St, but that's a little farther...
|
mmmmmmmmm, margaritas
don't forget to include me in the head count!
|
For those of you who do best with a map, here's the Google map.
http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q...Washington,+DC Start at the 20th and Q St. exit of the Metro (it's signed as Q St. exit when you get off the train, the other (wrong) exit is signed as Dupont Circle. PS I'll be there if I'm in town that weekend. |
I think someone counted me on the baseball do thread, but just in case you don't have me down, I'll be there too.
