I'm new here and need help

Okay, I am new here and was directed here from a fellow member of another web site. She informed me this is the place to be if I need flight tickets at a great deal, I'm always asking for tickets on the other site and it has absolutely nothing to do with travel. My wish is to find roundtrip tickets for Dec. 16th - Jan 6-8. Traveling from Minneapolis to Houston and back. If anyone knows how to make this happen PLEASE let me know. Thanks a bunch.

Dont think anyone can MAKE this happen for you. Were not SANTA.
Have you tried orbitz? for comparison?
Or priceline?

This is the community forum for posting get togethers etc

You might have better luck in the Coupon connection

Welcome to FT

The Mileage Run forum might have a few good deals, and the Northwest Airlines forum might be more inclined to help you out (as MSP is a big NW base).

Use the little drop-down box at the bottom of the page to jump to different forums.

ljp99, that was mean.

Welcome to Flyertalk.

Generally before posting it's a good idea to read a little bit first and get an idea of where things go (your thread will probably be moved soon) and what the board's about, but we were all new once so let me try to help.

Travelocity is showing $223 plus taxes and fees for your itin if you're willing to wait to travel until Dec. 20. You can return Jan. 6 or 8. That's on Frontier and on AirTran. It's $261 plus tax and fees if you're stuck on departing Dec. 16 and that's offered on Continental and Northwest.

Good luck.

Thank You so very much, that was very nice, and to everyone else who directed me to the correct place. Thanks.

Welcome to FT, woodys girl! You received some good advice, both to explore the choices of where to post on FT (yes, it is a large site with many areas of interest) as well as some focused information on a few deals that might be out there for your travel. So, since your post is really off the topic for Community, I'll close it now but hope that if you do travel often that you will find good tips throughout the site and enjoy contributing and sharing your advice. We all learn from each other. Although FT is large, you will find us Moderators and many members of the community helpful to you in enhancing your posting experience. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-moderator, Community.
