An evening in BKK: Fri 17th Dec
 

Hi all,

I'll be in BKK from the 17th-19th of this month. Savage25 and myself are planning to have a mini-do on the evening of the 17th (Friday).

Only the date is fixed as of now, the plans for venue for dinner &/or drinks are pretty fluid (no pun intended ;) ) at this stage. We shall probably end up picking a place in the Sukhumvit area that is either in or close to the Sheraton Grande Sukhmuvit / Westin Grande Sukhmuvit.

Anyone else in town that evening who fancies meeting up....

Sounds great! I'm free that evening.

I leave for Canada and a few weeks of work on the morning of the 20th, so the timing couldn't be better.

Oh dear. I've been forced to postpone my BKK trip by approx two weeks. :(
Hopefully Savage25, you and Sean can still have a decent do, despite too many other FTers not being in town!

Anyways, I'll now be in BKK over New Year's (on the 31st and 1st)....

Doesn't look like I'll be in BKK for the New Year....I was planning to head back to SIN from 31st to the 4th. YGPM.

I'll be in Thailand around those dates, why not?

Savage25 and anyone else interested. It's 24 hours away, and still no restaurant chosen? I always eat well when other flyertalkers are in town, so was looking forward to it. :cool:

Meeting up with another flyertalker tomorrow night, but he doesn't get in until after 10pm.

I'll be in BKK for two days, arriving late on the 19th. I guess I'll have just missed you guys... Be sure to post a review of your chosen venue if it's worthy of recommendation!

Sean, I can't make it tomorrow evening...have an office party type thing that just came up. I don't think I'll get to meet you before you leave either, but let me know when you're back in town again.

AJ, my plans are changing and I may be around in BKK for the New Years...will let you know for sure next week.

I'll be arriving in BKK very late on 1 Jan. and leaving very early 12 days later.

Aww.. I'm no longer aregular here (don't know if I ever was.. have always been more of a lurker than a poster) but I stumbled across this thread. Consider me there in spirit. I sure miss Bkk - I haven't lived there for 10 years now, but being born there and living there the first 18 years of my life, I still kinda think of it as 'home'
