2008 Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Balloon Blowup

Post here if you're going to attend the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Post here if you're going to watch them blow up the balloons the night before.


I've attended many balloon blowups. Lots of fun. Starts around 7:00pm on the upper westside. Continues through the night. We're meeting at Starbucks Columbus Ave and West 81 Street.

Time 7:00pm
November 27 << Wednesday night

If I recall correctly, Thanksgiving falls in November. ;)

It's never to early to plan an event. :cool:

Dan, I will probably be travelling somewhere overseas during Thanksgiving week.

But if, for some reason, that doesn't look like it's going to happen, I would certainly consider coming to NYC one more time this year for the fun and festivities! :)

Im a possibility for the pre-parade festivities. Ive never done that before.

Sounds like fun! It always reminds me of a Seinfeld episode though. :)

There is a very good possibility I will be in NYC for T'Day this year. It is a little too early to know whether we would be there Wednesday evening or would be arriving early Thursday AM.

And, it's not until the end of November? ;)

I've wanted to do this for years, but I have Thurs-Fri-Sat off this year, and there's no way in the world the city will let me have Wednesday night off to fly back.

If, in addition to the holiday, you have President Elect Kerry to celebrate, it will be warm no matter what the temperature. :) I wish I could join you, but will be out of the country.
