Friday 28th May, 2004 Starting Point: Ron Black’s Basement, Dawson St., Dublin 2. 6 p.m. There are two Ron Black’s Basement on Dawson St. We are talking about the Ireland’s smallest pub in the basement – about 4 or 5 doors from St. Stephens Green, not the clean trendy place half-way down Dawson St. with Milano’s and Samsara on either side. If the place you find look even slightly trendy, ask if it’s Ireland smallest pub. If not, they’ll give you directions to the other one. They are only one minute apart. Proposal – drinks at about 6 p.m. followed by dinner at (venue to be decided) at (time to be decided); followed by more drinks at (venue to be decided) from about (time) onwards. I am in Dublin Tues / Wed that week, but will need to be back in ORK Fri night - flying to LHR on Sat (early!) am and back Sun am .... Would certainly like to meet up sometime soon in the future though ... Regards, John P |
