I just checked with my potential "+1"; he won't be able to make it.

Also, I will probably be bringing a bottle worth enough to have one or two others go in with me if so desired, just let me know if you are interested.

Later tonight NYC time, let's say 0300 GMT, I'll PM everyone payment info. Cost for WineDo will be $88.00.

I know some of you will be mailing a check. My address is still the same.

Payment will be due by May 19 (19 May) 1800 hours NY (2300 GMT).
I won't chase anyone down for payment. The waitlist will clear the next day.

Have a question, please ask. Payment will be by Zelle. Paypal is a possibility and I have someone testing payment this way. They thought I was a business and charged me fees. No thanks. More later.

No. In past Wine Dos, there has always been a small selection (approximately four items) of choices of appetizer, main course, dessert. Not the whole North Square menu.

That's 100% correct. Thank you.

The list has been updated as of 0900 (1400 GMT) NY time. Bolded = payment received.

The reason for prepayment is that if someone is a no show, we don't have to pay the extra $$ to cover their share of dinner. If for some reason you know in advance, someone on the waitlist will happily take your place, and money will be refunded.

Time to start thinking about what you're going to bring. If you need a local wine store recommendation, a few of us are qualified to respond.

This is the first time I'm posting the menu in advance. North Square offers a slight variation every year.

Appetizers

Endive Salad - in spite of what I said upthread, this salad looks good. YMMV.

Crab cake

Salmon tartare

Fried Calamari



Entrees

Rack of lamb

Skirt steak

Scallops

Salmon

Desserts

Chocolate Mousse cake

Cheesecake

Key Lime pie

All of the above go with white, Champagne, and red wines. If you're not sure what to bring, please ask.

Please post your wine so we can figure out what's missing.
