Add me and the +1 for Saturday. Grandstand seats start at $60 on Vivid Seats. I might have a $50 store credit with them to donate. I'm checking to see if I have to be the purchaser or can just give you the code.

bk3day has been numerous times.

My best advice is to try to schedule an extra couple days. Tons of stuff to do, a nice leisurely pace is welcome.

Pricing seems to be holding steady in that range. Maybe wishful thinking but it looks like there's a bit more availability than a few days ago... Was hoping prices would be a bit lower. Let's hope... not a huge marquee weekend for racing and UK football is playing at home that Saturday....

C'mon Big Blue Nation - turn in your Keeneland tickets for the 15th and go prove you're not just a basketball school anymore.

I'm definitely in for racing on Saturday. Friday might be a bit ambitious for me.

I see the uncovered box seats are still available direct from Keeneland for both Friday and Saturday - $90 for 6 tickets on Friday, $150 for Saturday. We'd run the risk of rain, but we could lock in seating now. I believe Keeneland even offers refunds until 2 weeks prior to race day.

If you guys want to go that route, I'd be ok with it. Would we just bail if the forecast calls for rain?

I believe these uncovered box seats are temporary seats they're putting in for the upcoming Breeders Cup at Keeneland. So these would be below the permanent grandstand boxes. Might be decent sightlines. Just hope it's not rainy or too hot...

I'd be in for the tickets by either route. I checked the ten day weather forecast (only goes through Friday, the 15th), which appears to be warm (temps in the 80s) and sunny, although weather can turn quickly in Kentucky. Still 80 degrees is a sight more comfortable than the 116 degrees I had in Sacramento yesterday.

I'm provisionally flying into/out of CVG, arriving 18:30 on Friday and coincidentally departing also at 18:30 on Sunday. Renting a car, in case anyone wants to carpool in one or both directions.

Unfortunately that rules me out for CCI or Merrick on Friday -- will likely head to Country Boy Brewing for beer/dinner on arrival which is what I've done a few times anyway

Is everyone doing Keeneland on Saturday? Debating seeing if I can get tasting/tour slots and maybe have lunch/dinner at The Stave again.

Thank you, Santander, for alerting me to the availability of "Loge Boxes" direct from Keeneland for Saturday 10/15. These are temporary outdoor bleacher type boxes they've put in to boost capacity for the Breeders Cup. I went ahead and reserved 2 boxes (12 seats) at $25 per seat. Because KEE allows for a full refund up to 48 hours beforehand, we can finalize the count (either 6 or 12, no partial boxes allowed) closer in, or cancel them all and get a refund if it looks like "Kentucky Rain keeps fallin' down"

(And if we can only scrounge up 10 pax total, I will gladly eat the cost of 2 extra seats and consider it a paid upgrade )

For now, I think those who want to go to the races Saturday are:
Cocobird
Rxgeek +1
Santander
Herb687
bk3day
stravels

Zorak - regardless of whether you join us at KEE or not, I'd be interested in dinner at The Stave Saturday night. I want to try them when they're not out of 75% of their menu. Easy drive from KEE to The Stave after racing.

Never eaten at the Stave but would like me and the +1 added to any reservation. Been to Stave and Barrel twice. Great tour and historic grounds.

Ok, I booked a table on the porch at 7pm for a party of 6, Saturday the 15th. That leaves room for 2 more, and we can increase if others are interested...

Thanks Herb687 for booking the seats. And Zorak , I am still kind of tempted to go to the UK football game on Saturday night, but please add me to your table.

Also, for the first LEX DO ever, I'm actually flying to LEX and staying Sunday night!
