We did subways in 2019 and I think it worked out very well. I'd be happy to do it that way again.

We were exhausted due to lots of walking, some of which was a detour to the old Ebbets Field to see a plaque on the side of an apartment building stating this was Ebbets Field.

I will not get sucked into detours this year unless discussed in advance. If necessary, I'll consult a Flyertalk lawyer that I know.

Is this the downstairs market we went to in 2019? Loved the choices if it is.

You're referring to https://www.dekalbmarkethall.com/

Time Out Market in the link above has a variety of places to eat. Several are more upscale. Food cost will vary. I was last there with Tom911 (RIP) just before Covid.

I can't remember if Di Fara was a BRT stop (I haven't done it in many years) but this made me think of you, Dan.

Howie tipped me off earlier this afternoon. A sad day in the life of many Brooklynites that have enjoyed more than their fair share of outstanding pizza.

BRT was never able to visit Di Fara's due to long wait times.

I was doing research for the 2022 BRT and just found out that Butter and Scotch has closed. They're only available online. We stopped here the last 4 or 5 tours. It was a great place for a dose of sweets and a beverage. Much nicer atmosphere than our Starbucks stop in Park Slope.

Ack... something has come up Please move me to the "maybe" list -- if anything, I will meet the group for a portion of the tour.

It's OK. In the long history of this tour, many people have just met up with the group for a portion of the tour, for example, one of the group meals.

Heck, in 2019 I did this. I met up at DeKalb Market Hall for lunch only. I may do similar this year -- e.g., meet up at Time Out Market or another meal stop.

I have done this once as well -- I think I stopped at Eataly (or whatever the Italian market was called) and L&B, back when I had the Malibu.
