2021 Santa Paws
 

In light of the Secret Santa thread, it's time for the 8th annual FT Santa Paws exchange, where FTers' pets sent presents to each other, much like the Secret Santa exchange.

I'll organize it again this year, as I had great fun learning about FTers' furbabies!

If you want to participate, send me a PM with:

1. Your Name
2. Number of pets "participating"
3. Pet name(s) and species
4. Your email address
5. Mailing address for your pet(s)
6. Toys they like,
7. Treats they like and any allergies or restrictions they have with regard to treats
8. Neck measurement (for collars)
9. Any other information you wish to share that is interesting.

"Suggested" value, around $20/pet, not including shipping. I'll send our assignments by December 8, please ship presents by December 20.

I am sadly no longer owned by a furbaby but will gladly step up as a backup Santa.

Thank you! This year is sad for me, as 2 years ago, I had 3 furbabies participating, last year was 2, and this year is 1.

Tugger and Grover received their gift today from Charlie the Spaniel.

A really cool Pawthquake toy that came with a couple feathers and a ribbon that you attach and it moves it around and also has a laser that moves. Grover loves batting at the ribbon and Tugger loves the laser light.

Charlie also gave them Churu, their favorite kitty treat in a few different flavors. They were very happy kitties today.

Grace wants to say thank you to Tugger and Grover for her toy and giant bag of jerky treats! She's already started enjoying them!

A HUGE package arrived for Dylan and Helen from Princess Grace. A 7lb!!! Box of milkbones, a nylabone, a squeaky duck, jerky treats, and puparoni.

Helen immediately took the squeaky duck. Dylan liked the bone but really wanted the whole bag of jerky.

Glad they arrived! Grace figured the corgis could use all of the treats!

Charlie LOVES his presents, thank you - and yes I know the ball should be inflated - but that isn't going to happen as:
a) Balls are banned in the house (he is ball mad and won't settle if he has one
b) He loves it as it is and has taken it to bed with him.

I love to see the pets dressed up for Christmas: Santa/elf hats and that red and green on black sweater.

This is too darn cute. Yes, that is a huge ball when it is inflated. Dylan uses his outdoors only and totally herds it all over the great lawn

Charlie knows the name of all his toys - so the "what should be giant inflated tennis ball" is now called .... BANANA lol

We sadly lost Helen the corgi two weeks ago. I'm just able to write about it. She was 14.5 years old. She could still run for a treat (when she felt like it) but had slowed a ton, was deaf/blind, and slept most of the time. When she was clearly suffering, it was time to help her over the rainbow bridge. She was a much loved member of the family for a long time and will be deeply missed. Dylan, her nephew, is at least relieved to be able to walk into the kitchen without her growling at him and to be allowed to play with a squeaky toy without her stealing it immediately. He's been getting lots of extra cuddles
