I just learned this: The first commercial vineyard in the US was founded near LEX in 1799. It has been “recreated” and is open for visits.

Giving this a bump.
Hyatt Regency seems to have gone up in price. Not sure if it is filling or what. A great use of 8000 Hyatt points. Once again, if i book for you, you inherit my status, which would get you a couple breakfasts daily. I called and they have expanded the limited buffet of last time (still not back to the classic buffet) or you can get table service. Let me know.

Castle and Key, a very popular distillery, has reopened for tours. Might be worth following their website if you are interested. I am sure they will book up.

Just checked Merrick Inn and reserved a table for 6 at 6:30pm on the outdoor patio for Friday night. Anything over 6 people was at 9:15 pm or 5:15 pm. Suggest someone else make a reservation just in case we can't sweet talk the folks at the restaurant to allow us a large table or two tables next to each other.
