RSW do? (Fort Myers Naples Southwest Florida)
 

Hey everyone, I recently moved down here from New England. Wish I could be traveling more, but in the meantime would there be any interest among Southwest Florida people to have a meet up, say next month?

I am thinking at the Texas Roadhouse Grill in Estero, on the Tamiami Trail by the western end of Estero Parkway. Kind of between Fort Myers and Naples, so maybe we could draw from both places. Lunch or happy hour.

I do not live in Florida, but this could be a good excuse for me to go. Don't make any plans around me but I will keep an eye on this thread :)

I've never been to Ft. Myers so this would be a good excuse to go.

Ft. Myers is a lot of fun, I think you would enjoy it. A lot of good restaurants and brew pubs, and of course the beach. I also had the best Jello shots in my life from a liquor store... somewhere... around there.

My uncle lives in Bonita Springs, so visiting him might give me a compelling reason to head down there.

Well, I was hoping to make friends with the local folks who live in this area, especially since I’m new and I don’t know too many people. I could use some new friends! But certainly if any of you all are visiting, look me up. I like to do fun things, I am still pretty much always excited to go to the beach and I eat lunch almost every day so it will be fun to do either of those things while chatting with someone new about Miles and travel.

otherwise, I’d hope to see you where you are before you can get here. I’m anxious and ready to go!

Funny. I spent a week, in February, almost across the street from that restaurant in Estero.
