Dinner in SEA May 12, 2021

Thanks to my friends at Alaska for the flash sale last week, we're Seattle bound in May. My wife and I are both vaccinated. Interested in a FT dinner with outdoor seating. Someplace fun, close to downtown, or a 20 minute Lyft/uber ride away from the Hyatt Regency on Howell St. Maybe a brewpub?

May 12 Wednesday. Interested? Hoping to meet up with my old local friends + some new faces.

So far:

Edit. Just for clarity, this is open to all Flyertalkers that have been vaccinated. Thanks for understanding.

Edit 4/21 > Dinner is on May 12 Wednesday, and is sold out (so to speak) due to Covid restrictions. Several Flyertalkers have contacted me privately, so I have to limit the number of attendees. Sorry about that.

we’ve frequented a number of local craft breweries with outdoor tables (seating two to six) ... I’m only aware of two (Cloudburst and Stoup, both in Ballard) that offer reservations, and several explicitly state that people are *not* free to move between tables

only a few of the brewery websites publish the schedule for their on-site food trucks more than a day or two in advance (and the “master” food truck website is notoriously less than current), but you’re generally free to bring in carry-out from anywhere

Mrs767 and I are in; maybe our son as well

If it's still open, Machine House brewery in Georgetown area (south of Downtown) is a great place for English style beers. Two Beers brewery was also pretty good when I was there, but maybe a bit further. You can also catch the light rail to some good places.

A couple beer options under a mile to the east are Redbook Brewlab and Optimism Brewering Company. Brewlab has dining and Optimism usually has food trucks. Both data points are a few years stale, admittedly, and may need some research. Both are reasonable walking distance from the Regency.

The OP may not have been clear, so it's been edited. Dinner is open to anyone that's been vaccinated. Thanks for understanding.

Dinner edit > is sold out. 5/8/21.

Sadly , not able to be back in Seattle in person this year even though vaccinated .. must test very short haul flights first 😉 with mask on !!
Can hardly believe that I have not been on a plane for about exactly 15 months !!

Would love to meet up some time though ( been on Zoom 😉 with some sorry about the font 👇🏻& possibly again with
( OMNI Bugger Virtual DO #10: May 1, 2021 ) even if I do not “ imbibe “ but to connect with some FTers ..

But enjoying views like this 👇🏻 nonetheless ..

I'm actually thinking of taking the Coast Starlight north (since I've already done it going south) then flying AS home. I wish I had $500++ to do it in a roomette, but $167 Business Class will have to suffice for the 25 hour ride. And because of this, if the DO date becomes flexible again, I'd prefer the 12th for Amtrak's limited COVID schedule will spit me out at King Street Station on the 11th.

Dinner is on May 12 Wednesday, and is sold out (so to speak) due to Covid restrictions. Several Flyertalkers have contacted me privately, so I have to limit the number of attendees. Sorry about that SEA777GUY and others.

To avoid any issues, I'll pm the attendees the dinner location.
