I know and even if not, I'm sure there'll be something else to enjoy.

Was looking at some of the tours mentioned upthread and I'm wondering if Barrel House is a new place? Town Branch is the only tour I recall being located in Lexington proper?

I just checked and there is grand stand seating available for Friday, but a lot of 6. It’s $35 a ticket, which includes $10 f&b credit. Any interest in doing Friday grandstand?

Also, tickets can be cancelled up until 48 hours prior to date of ticket it seems, for full refund, so there may well be tickets becoming available closer in.

for anyone else who's flying to/from BNA, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green might be an interesting detour ...

Barrel House is the place we generally go Sunday morning after Stella’s.

Conveniently by the ice cream place, the new cidery, a brewpub, and pizza place.

rxgeek mentions above a fairly new hole-in-the-wall distillery near West Sixth. I imagine there are more.

bk3day and I are taking a tour of Maker’s Mark Friday at 12:15.

If you are interested in sharing a ride, let me know. It’s a gorgeous facility, in Loretto, about 75 minutes’ drive. Check their website for tour info.

We plan to return late afternoon, in time for Happy Hour at CCI and Merrick Inn dinner.

I stopped when I was moving from FL to OH. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

It's been at least that long! I was there in Aug 2014 and they already had the sinkhole set up as an exhibit.

Bluegrass Distillers? In the old Rainbo Bread bakery building? We went there once. Was a decent tour. I don't remember much about their whiskey.

3 hrs plus a time zone change from our hotel at BNA ... that's on the road at 0800 after arrival at 2345 ... tempting, but probably not realistic

Thanks for the heads up.

I just scored a Makers Mark tour at 3:30 on Saturday.

I also have a noon tour at Wild Turkey as well.

Seconded. Just grabbed a 3:15 Saturday Maker’s Mark tour. I’ve been an Ambassador for awhile, but this will be my first time visiting.
