Oz Fest 17 BNE 2021 will be a little different from other Oz Fest's.
Currently we have 16 confirmed as Platinum. Some may drop out and others upgrade. Expect no more than 20 to attend this year.

Glad to see this is going to happen.
Sue and I have a Hilton booking for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
No flights for us as we are actually driving off and heading north on Monday (if we are ready) and will start the treck homeward on the Monday afterwards.

First, a big thank you to the OZ Fest Organizers. I can't imagine what its like to plan a worldwide DO during the pandemic! Plan, re-do, re-book, and communicate two years of changes!
Like other FTs, I am struggling to keep my plans alive for 2022. Lessons learned ? Book non-refundable fares and hotels. When we do gather in BNE, say thank you to those who persevered!

I'm in bright and early Friday morning (good lord, what was I thinking?!).

I'll be searching nice cheap accom over next few days. Life would really be much easier if I did these things sooner, I remind myself in vain.
I'm going to stay a few extra days and and work out of our BNE office. Brisbane will be sick of me by the end.
