It could also mean that I will be assigned someone if we have an odd number of people who want to participate.

I was just contacted by HeadElf53 about this thread. He said that you should contact him using PM via dhammer53 to find additional information about your recipient. Everyone will be happy that the Elves are working socially distant, 6 feet (2 meters) apart, and are washing up constantly.

I've got my Santa already, altho I haven't got my sign-up in yet. Not to worry, it will be sent in soon. This is always one of the highlights of the holiday season, wouldn't dream of missing it this year.
