July could work for me. Please don't head to New York based on that. We can talk in July.

I'll keep an eye on this. I'd love to come up for social distancing New York food.

I'm not sure if dhammer53 or any of you have ever been to Randazzo's Clam Bar in Sheepshead Bay (and I suppose it's a little out of the way for the normal BRT route), but if you haven't, you should. They have outdoor seating too. Randazzo's is a not-so-well-kept secret of Brooklyn.

Anyway, since I didn't get to go to Brooklyn yesterday, I went today

If we meet on July 18, the Time Out Market (above) will be better suited for a socially distant lunch. We can spread out outside and enjoy the view. It's much faster to get to from Manhattan (on the subway) than L&B Spumoni Gardens, although I'll go with the flow of where people would prefer to eat. I still have a wait and see attitude; but they way things are progressing in New York (we're in Phase 2), this will be DOable.

You may want to read this article if you're coming to NY. The governors of NY, NJ, and CT announced a 14 day quarantine. The list of states can change daily.

This is likely to become more of an issue as we see more spikes in the South. Also, concerned here what happens when we hit phase 3

I like posting new things to do here. It's acts as a place saver for me.

Watch this 26 minute video. It's just below the opening screen shot. Next June, our walking/bus/subway tour will include several new stops. Some will include eating.

For the many readers here that have been to Coney Island, or expect to visit one of these days, I just watched a show on Public Television that I thought you may be interested in > https://www.heartofconeyisland.com/

I only had a chance to watch a few minutes, though everything I saw looks amazing.

Any chance a future BRT might stop at Lenny's Pizza in Bensonhurst? Just curious.
