Thursday 9 April, 7pm ~ Meet and Greet Drinks (TBD)
Friday 10 April, 10am ~ Tour of Nagoya
Friday 10 April, 7pm ~ Official Do Dinner (TBD)
Saturday 11 April, 8:30am ~ Day trip to Ise Shrines (Post 43)
Sunday 12 April, 9:00am ~ Day trip / hiking in Kiso Valley (Post 44)

The Do will follow the usual pattern of Pre-Drinks / Day Trip / Main Dinner / Lazy Sunday, with a post-do yet to be proposed (but I'm sure the interpred ones amongs us will make recommendations ranging from Onsens to DMZ!)

In 2017 the post-Do was in Korea when a group of us went on a day trip to the DMZ.

Never too late to start planning for April 2022. While it is 13 months out as of this posting, we can start looking at locations. Any suggestions? May I suggest Miyazaki?

I believe we will pick up where we left off planning to be in Nagoya as soon as we can schedule the Do. Hopefully this time next year.

Japan Do usually takes place at Easter. In 2022 Easter Sunday will be on 17 April, so the Do is likely to be on 14-17 April.

Me too. Can’t wait to meet again next year. Availability of flights and hotels could be challenging though as everyone is eager to travel again, plus the popularity of Japan driven by the Olympics, so early planning might be wise.

I hear Asian countries might be the last to open to the foreign visitors, so hopefully by Easter 2022, all will be back to “normal”

Yes, we had some visitors following us from Japan... Made some members hotel experiences memorable in Korea.

Well, I'll always advocate for a week later. Know I'll probably be shot down, but that would aid with my availability, and I don't need to pull what I did last time (or worse).
