nme7 posted some time ago (in another thread) photos of some Nagoya delicacies. I'm copying his post below so you know what you are missing!
While I did mention Kagoshima as a first choice, I think Nagoya would also be an excellence choice. Nagoya Castle looks amazing. Plus, some of the food offerings there looks very delicious.
