The series is excellent but I'm so a loss as to why it is the most watched one on Netflix.

:D I thought I was pretty good with Simpsons references but I had to look that up. Sheer brilliance. Further evidence that LEX DO regulars are the best of FT!

I'm confident that spectators will be allowed on at least a limited basis (i.e. advance ticketing, limited capacity) at KEE for this Spring meet. CD has already said that will be allowing spectators for its meet that starts right after KEE closes.

I'm still interested in a limited April LEX event if we can do it in a safe, physically distanced way. Depending on the weather, I might just do it as an extended road trip. Maybe swing through Arkansas and catch some racing (and famous Oaklawn corned beef sandwiches) in Hot Springs on the way there.

I just called to inquire about Keeneland spectators. Got the Security Office as the main Office is closed.

Maybe the power outage got them. It is bad in KY.

Still hoping to come in April, just before I close on my new home and move. I need a break, good food, and a visit with friends.

Just checked and see the Merrick Inn is open and tables/times are wide open (for a change). The max is 8 on standard reservation. Otherwise, probably have to call to see if one of the upstairs dining room is open.

In nice weather, the patio at the Merrick Inn would be a good place for a small group dinner during a pandemic - plenty of fresh air to circulate.

Earlier in the thread, tmb brought up April 16-18 as the preferred weekend. I have avios redemptions for all 4 weekends in April, so I'm ready whether it stays on that weekend or gets moved.

Ok, now that Keeneland is going to have some kind of ticket sales, let’s go for April 16-18.

I will post a regular new thread for it tomorrow.

Not sure what all is open, but there should be some things.
