Lunch today is at 1:00 PM at Muthu's Curry on Racecourse Road in Little India. There are multiple locations to let so make sure you go to the correct one.

Afterwards if anyone is interested I'll be visiting the Tree Top Walk around Macritchie resivoir.

Anther good activity is the Tiger Beer brewery tour. You need to buy tickets in advance for it.

Thanks for the thoughts. Let's just say that I am doing. Forced to buy Premium Economy Air France to Papette last month. Not the flying but "forced to buy" since none ot my points nor Marsha's could get us there in the style to which we are accustomed. Thank you Delta, American, British and Alaska and either their lack of partners or and/or usurous rates for business class redemptions. The world of flying has changed over the last 6 years.

And I am not that old.. Using a cane periodically does get us early boarding and expedited clearance when arriving into the U.S.and sometimes less invasive screening by Fast Food rejects.

Hate to miss dinner but it is 45 min from where I'm staying and I already had 2 big meals today. Did lots of walking in the heat, too. So glad to see old friends and make new ones!

Glad to hear! Service standards was quite dismal during the Christmas period. Hope they’re more attentive with the drinks refills this weekend.

Me too , but unlike you , have missed all activities / meals & likely all of you this Do .
Perhaps if I am ok by tomorrow & some are still around , not off to Langkawi , etcetera , might see you if around in vicinity of FS or TANGs / ION ..
Was hoping to check out the lights tonight in town around Civic District / Fort Canning and Chinatown , but it will not be happening for me so if you do .. Enjoy .. dinner too

Perhaps having a great time few days last weekend in hazy BKK did not help .

I also did not make dinner tonight, headed out to BKK tomorrow. I enjoyed the meals and drinks and meeting/re-meeting people.

Thanks to bschaff1 for organising, and will catch people at a future DO.

Dinner was jolly enough even without the bailers ... best price-to-value of the trip I think. Thanks to bschaff for his company, hard work, and beer and to all these old friends for coming to visit. Next year I hope to see everyone instead of just "seeing" you - 2020 is the year of eye operations, appropriately enough. lili is antsy and wants to hit Oscar's at opening time, which is now. Safe travels!

At lunch Saturday I was discussing with one or two of you last year's Hong Kong airlines fare error, but realized I mis-spoke, I just checked my booking,
and I paid USD 710.00 for lie-flat business class SFO-HKG-BKK and return.
Details were here:
[PREM FARE GONE] HX: LAX-PVG rt in J ~$580ish
