This is just ridiculous, there's not enough taxis and Grab drivers -- there are other people in the hotel lobby finding transport with difficulty as well

Sorry to miss you - some of us took an early taxi back to the Conrad. The group, well, if you proceed along the path from where the taxi lets you off, go to the first rank of stalls, and turn left, you will see us - two tables' worth.

Improved communication

As it came up during dinner, here’s a WhatsApp group to make communications much easier amongst people.

[whatsapp link removed]

In unrelated news, if anyone is up for some music, we’re at Chijmes/Bobby’s

Going old school with drinks for Friday Night. We'll definitely move on from elsewhere after a round here.

I hope they do better than they were LeMeridien when they mainly ignored us even after making arrangements with the "Manager"..Have a good time.

For those that are interested, at noon today, we'll do the trail hike starting from here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gdpnT3nQ57AMfdrc7
I'm planning on leaving the Hyatt at 11:40 and we'll gladly split a ride there.

Link is not working.
I guess that means no lunch meet-up today, I'll see you at dinner.

It worked for me after removing the trailing colon:

I think I will skip the trails today. My knee feels better and I don’t want to jinx it. I need to pick up another little suitcase for the trip home too.
I’m in for dinner tonight though!

No hike for us old people - will see the Conrad people at happy hour
before dinner - lili may not be coming along. Happy day, everyone.

Speaking of old people, you're missed, opushomes. We hope you're
doing well. Best to Marsha.

The service was slightly more attentive. I'm sure they were happy. We had a big circle of about 25 chairs and I'm sure they were glad to get the business. I don't think they changed a thing in the hotel. It looks exactly the same as it did 10 years ago.

Bundy, if you’re game, bus 36 from the airport stops right in front of Conrad, 11 stops, SGD2.50, about 40mins. Not a bad option if you have the time as you get see some interesting neighbourhoods along the way.
