I land in Australia tomorrow morning, it's the last segment of my round-the-world fare. I don't even have a return ticket home yet, I'll probably buy another RTW in Sydney. I may well adventure long enough in Australia to make this event. Cairns April 15-20, NZ 20-27, Syd 27-???
Eager and open to seeing old friends and new ones starting April 27th through all of May...

Thumbs up Booked an award flight to oz on UA (14-day hold)
Please upgrade me to "almost definite!"

I just booked an award flight to oz on UA -- managed to find some business class inventory! It's on 14-day hold while I watch for better flight opportunities and sort out my plans.

I will peruse the list of suggested activities and respond with my preferences in the next couple of days.

Can't attend due to conflict with another committment.
Can't attend due to something being scheduled for that weekend. Everyone have fun for me! I initially made committment before I knew of exact date.

I just got back from SYD and MEL on holiday, so I won't be joining you guys this time around, but I HIGHLY recommend the BridgeClimb. I'm not one who is normally known as the uber-adventurer, but that was THE most amazing experience. It's very safe, and if you don't mind heights, you MUST do it! There are only two bridges in the world that allow this - the ohter is in New Zealand.

Do it! You will not regret it!

Yeah having climbed both I have to admit that SYD bridge climb is better than AKL bridge climb. Quite a different perspective on the city and harbour from the top.
