I've seen people post here when they hit milestones like 2,000 posts, 10,000 posts.
Like this thread, for instance.
Just thought I'd note this temporary milestone.

Is this alright with you? If not moderator please delete this thread. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

So sorry... the header 5K did not say anything to me about you recognizing your post count....

I thought you may have ran a 5K race... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

UALOneKPlus,

Poppycock, I say. You have a life and it revolves around FlyerTalk. What is wrong with that? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif

I have the same life when I am on the road. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Congrats on your 5,000th post. I'm nowhere near that and I still don't seem to have a life, so you really are living large. Wonderful contribution to FlyerTalk - many thanks from all of us.

Thanks Randy, RobotDoctor, and gleff.

I have really enjoyed this board ever since I found it in 2002. I think I'm a bit atypical from the typical flyertalker because I don't really hunt for miles & points (or moints & piles, as jfe says http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif ), but I really find so many of life's tips and hints from the many boards here, and I have made so many great friends here. This board makes business travel hundreds of times easier, and makes down time at the hotels much more fun.

Thank you FlyerTalk and randy! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsup.gif

I'm right behind you. But when are we having the Flyertalk 5K run? And where? How about Kenya?

No. I suggest a 5K run in London. Start and stop and celebrate each kilometer with one pint at pubs located 1K apart from each other. Everyone starts the run at the same time and everyone continues the run from each pub together exactly 5 minutes after the last runner reaches the door of the pub. This way the faster runners will have more pubtime. Whichever runner collects the most collective pubtime at the 4 mid-way pubs is, of course, declared the winner. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsup.gif

Sign me up for that one right now!

As for Kenya - who said we can't do both?
