Currently at the The Maxwell which is a Marriott property. May change though as we get closer in.

I've added this link to the OP. It talks about the Smith 9th Street station of the F train. We'll take this train after we have dinner at L&B Spumoni Gardens.

From Tripadvisor > https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaura..._New_York.html

As we make our way to Brooklyn, our first stop will be the old (and first) NYC subway station > City Hall Station. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/...ll-station-mro

I've always wanted to do this, and won't take much extra time since we'll stay on the #6 local from Grand Central. #Free

In the coming weeks, I'll post a 'planned' itn with estimated times.

I'm sad to say I need to back out. Looks like that's the same weekend as a wedding I am attending. I'd rather come to Brooklyn...

Y'all take a ton of pictures and have a great time!

I stayed at the Lexington three months ago. There's no lounge on the weekend and they have a BS Urban Destination Fee and tiny rooms. I wouldn't go back. From what I understand though, the Maxwell is worse.

As exected. Luckily my discount code let's me evade the BS destination fee. The location is perfect for letting me squeeze every minute of available sleep out of Saturday morning (a high priority for me).

2 weeks to go.

This is a free event. Your only cost is:

7 or so subway fares MTA/New York City Transit - Fares and MetroCard
Admission to the Botanic Gardens** https://www.bbg.org/
Lunch at Dekalb Market https://www.dekalbmarkethall.com/vendors/
Pizza dinner at L&B Spumoni Gardens https://www.spumonigardens.com/
Bakery goodies. Just a tease > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_and_white_cookie

** Brooklyn Museum (of Art) if it rains. https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/

If you don't have a NYC subway Metro Card, there's a $1.00 fee to get one. You can use a mileage or points earning credit card to purchase. I can walk you through it.

Bring comfortable shoes. We'll walk, then eat, then subway, then walk, then subway, then walk etc etc. At the end of the day, we'll have had a nice hike.
People can join/leave the tour anytime.

Have a question or suggestion, now's the time to ask. The tour described above is a rough outline. If all anyone wants to do is have a beer at a local bar, adjustments can be made. This year I'm going with the flow. Majority rule is the theme.

I'm not sure when we'll return to the Hyatt on 42nd street. Could be anytime between 7:00 - 10:00pm.

BRT departs from the lobby registration desk at the Hyatt on East 42nd street at 10:00am Location is between Lexington Ave and Park Ave. This is Grand Central Terminal. https://www.grandcentralterminal.com/plan-your-visit/ If you've never seen this, allow 30 minutes to walk around or have something to eat.

Same, I'll probably meet up after BBG/museum at lunch or sometime in the afternoon. I've wanted to check out Other Half and Threes, as far as breweries go, if they somehow fit into the map.

If I drop out, can I still get my 20th BRT Anniversary commemorative t-shirt?
