Inter Airport Munich?

Anyone else attending the Inter Airport Munich show, 7-10 October?

RichardInSF Sep 16, 2003 9:57 pm

No, but I'll be in Munich from Oct 8 (late) through Oct 10 to visit our local office there. After querying FTers in the luxury hotel forum, I'm staying at the Bayerischer Hof. Coffee or something? What is the show all about?

It's one of the biggest airport suppliers exhibitions/trade shows in the world. Held at Munich Airport (Look for lots of strange things parked on a fenced-off apron if flying in or out). If you want to buy an aircraft tug, its the place to be http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif!

One can NEVER have enough airplane tugs! So what does an ornithologist (as you describe yourself) do at such a trade show? Wait, I know -- you keep the birds off the runway!

P.S. We make telecom test equipment so I will be visiting more down-to-earth customers such as Siemens.

Ding - point to RichardInSF http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif But we tell people how to keep birds off, rather than doing it ourself!

Well, as luck would have it, after spending last weekend there sopping up the suds, I'll be back in Munich from 10 - 13 Oct. Anyone else?

Leaving Munich on the 10th at about 3pm, does that fit in with you in any way?

Counsellor Oct 7, 2003 12:04 am

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif 'fraid not. That's about the time I'll be coming in (mid-afternoon), but I'll be coming in by rail from STR.

Long story.
