Sydney September 18-23
 

My partner and I will be in SYD over the above dates as part of "trip of a lIfetime" and will be staying at The Westin Sydney. Would like to meet up with some FT'ers for a beer or three!

Although I haven't finalized my itinerary, I should be arriving in SYD from HKG around September 21. I haven't decided where I'm going to stay yet, but when I figure that out this coming week I will post it here. Hopefully the regulars in SYD can meet up with us (you know who you are) for lunch or dinner in the city.

kawoh - you seemed to post above you were not available until Sept 24. ORDPLATAA's thread indicates he/she will be here until 23rd, hence my suggestion of September 22, as both visitors appear to be here then, and I may be out of town after that day.

Hey Oz-

I'll check with the "better half" but drinks at a minimum should be cool on the 22nd (we leave on the 23rd for Port Douglas). I'll e-mail so we can square away the details. Anyone else in SYD on the 22nd is welcome! I do have to warn you that he still thinks FT is a bit crazy (but then again it has him in seat 1K to HKG!!).

Oz - sorry my mistake.

Ord - When are you heading off on the 23rd? I arrive back at 930am (international terminal) and will probably head straight into town, if you're still around we could catch up for lunch.

Coincidentally, we have almost the same itinerary, except I will be flying back to LAX on the 23rd, instead of Port Douglas.

Dan and I are The Wing right now (09/17/03 at 8:05pm). We just used the Cabanas (awesome!!!!) and will be in Sydney tomorrow. Dan and I are are still game for drinks/dinner and possibly bringing Freddie Jr. back stateside! Post here if still interested.

Fits for me, but I have a lunch with a customer that day (have to justify my trip there). Can do it later.

And I ain't schlepping anything anywhere.

I met Bob & Dan last night for a drink, then a quick dinner. (Great meeting you two!)

I can do lunch, but I have a date with the bridge at 4pm, so that means no drinks for me. Can't be too heavy a meal or too late, either!
