Expedia cancelation help needed!
 
I bought a ticket from MIA to EZE for $850 round trip off of EXPEDIA.COM .. at the time I thought it was a good deal because I have miles and was going to get a ticket from LAX to MIA for free with the miles.

It turns out that the time frame doesn't match (newbie mistake of course) so I have to cancel this ticket that I bought with expedia.

Right now I am in argentina and I plan on calling them tomorrow becuase my friends/family in california don't seem to be helping much.

My question is, after reading the following penalties for cancelation, will I only incure a $100 penalty for cancelation???

It talks about a deadline for a full refund. Where can I find out what that deadline is??

Expedia.com also states that I might have to pay a difference in ticket price if I cancel. The new ticket costs about $1300.

Can anyone help me out with some tips on their experience with canceling tickets bought via EXPEDIA.com or TRAVELOCITY.com (2 of my relatives need the same done through tickets they bought on travelocity.com for $1200)

on a side note. I found tickets from LAX to MVD 12/13-1/3 for $830 roundtrip with all taxes. AA LAX-MIA, Varig MIA-GRU, Pluna GRU-MVD
Return Pluna MVD-GRU, United Gru-MIA-LAX

While this question is more appropriately asked in TravelBuzz....I would call Expedia and ask. I once booked a MCO-LAX UA ticket and changed my mind three days later to DL JAX-LAS. After calling Expedia support, they refunded my money (less the $5 booking fee) and I stuck with them for buying the second ticket. Your mileage may vary.
