Recently I asked some questions on the AS forum (re security, Board Room access, and the $50 upgrade option). I did not ask for any sort of coupons/favors, just info.

Here's an e-mail I received the other day:

I saw your thread in the Alaska Airlines forum. I have an extra Alaska Airlines VISA Platinum upgrade certificate I'd be happy to send you. This is one of the free upgrades confirmable on day of departure at the airport only from any fare.

I also may have two spare Board Room passes.
